Shock Risers

Shock riser pads are used to adjust the distance of the trucks base plate to the deck and also to absorb the shock generated from riding.

A common reason for using shock pads is to avoid stress cracks, which may occur from the stress applied from a metal baseplate installed directly onto a wooden deck.

A shock pad can be used by itself, or can be paired with a hard riser pad. Dooks short stacks come with a hard riser and a shock pad bonded together.
